The Mamacita Store is the youngest child of Mine, a Turkish born globe-trotter, living between Turkey and Greece with her Greek husband and two amazing kiddos. Mine has travelled the world and knows best how to step up your accessory game, being herself a total maximalist in accessorizing!
The Mamacita Store is the end product of a 3-month Covid-19 lockdown, where Mine wanted to take refuge in a world of her own. The Mamacita products are a fantastic combination of glamour with fun, mixing Mamacita’s all time favorite pearls and gold and sparkles with shiny colors and irreplaceable evil eyes.
The product range expands along the life lines and includes all season staples such as personalized jewelry, tree ornaments, the much sought after face mask straps, customized napkin rings and so much more.
1. Could you describe to us a daily routine that combines ‘Mamacita’ with family life?
Mamacita was born in the midst of the first Quarantine, in order to entertain the kids and keep me sane. So it is like my 3rd child, (almost) always on the living room table; on all of our arms, necks, hands like a baby.
You can find my younger, Olympia saying “Mamacita Mamacita Mamacita” because she likes how it sounds or my older one complaining “Mamacita Again?!”
2. What piece of advice would you offer to other mothers or to yourself before becoming a mum?
Make sure you keep something for yourself, something which will be yours and yours only; something that will remind you who you are apart from being a mum!
